Are you ready for XML challenge?

IDUG is sponsoring a contest by name XML Challenge which is open to professionals, students and hobbyists who are interested in programming and Database administration. IDUG is conducting this contest to increase awareness among people about XQuery, XML and DB2. This contest is so simple and straightforward. You'll be asked 15 questions and you have to answer them correctly. The contest has five separate tracks based on the skill levels of those individuals participating in this competition. One can participate in a single level or on all five levels. The five levels are :

• Video contest
• Gadget contest
• Xquery challenge
• Port an application
• Develop an application

The winners of this competition will walk away with any one of the following prizes.

• Laptops
• iPods
• Memory sticks

 

And moreover, this contest is not a one time contest. This contest runs through whole month and winners are declared every week (based on the level selected). For Xquery challenge, winners are announced every week and for Video and Gadget contest winners are announced every month. The winners for Video and Gadget contest are selected by the community and winners of Port and development of an application contests are selected by panel of judges.
